Oscar-winning Director Richard Attenborough Passes on at 90

Oscar-winning director Richard Attenborough, who moved to a care home in 2008, has passed on.
Born in Cambridge in 1923, and regarded as one of the few who has transformed the British movie industry to what it is today. He is a respected actor and director.
One of  his carrier highs was him winning eight Oscars for the 1982 movie ‘Gandhi’ as a director and 1993 blockbuster ‘Jurassic Park’ on which he appeared as an actor.
Prime Minister David Cameron paid his tribute to Lord Attenborough in a statement which read: “His acting in Brighton Rock was brilliant, his directing of Gandhi was stunning – Richard Attenborough was one of the greats of cinema.”
