On what would have been her 31st birthday, a tribute statue has been unveiled of singer Amy Winehouse.
Three years since her tragic death, her father Mitch, mother Janis and a handfull of celebrity friends gathered at Amy’s beloved Camden Square to unveil the stunning statue.
Sculpted by Scott Eaton, the life size bronze stands in an iconic pose at 175cm including high heels and trademark beehive.
Father Mitch was overcome at seeing his daughter immortalised. He said: “It is incredibly emotional to see Amy like this, but Scott has done an amazing job in capturing her. It is like stopping her in a beautiful moment in time. The Winehouse family are very grateful to Scott and we really hope Amy’s fans love the statue.
