Beauty Tips With Dunni: How To Apply False Lashes
False lashes are a great way to make your look from flat to fabulous. Learn how to apply your false lashes in this 7 breezy easy steps.
1)Measure the length of the false lash and make sure it fits into your eyeshape. If it doesn’t, trim the excess length.
2)Take both edges of the false lash and bend them in, to create a ‘C’ shape. By doing this, you take out the original straightness of the lash, and ensure it curves to your eye shape.

3)Apply a high quality glue. If you have a steady hand, you can squeeze the glue from thetube straight to the lash, or you can squeeze the glue to the back of a tweezer and glide it across the lash strip. Apply more glue to the inner and outer corner of the lash strip than to the rest.
4)Wait for about 15 seconds for the glue to become more tactile and sticky to avoid it slipping around when you place it onyour lash line. I usually blow gently on the lash or wave it around in the air to speed the drying process up.
5)Now, apply the lash directly to the base of your actual lash line and not on your eyelid at all.
6)Apply mascara last, so you can ‘blend’ the false lash into your natural lashes.
7)If you see a gap showing between your false lash and your natural skin, do not start all over again as it will certainly get messy. Just use your liquidliner or a black matte eyeshadow to fill the space.
